Have you ever caught yourself thinking, is this just as good as it gets? Did I miss my window? Or I guess I tried. And it's not that your life is falling apart, but maybe something feels off. You feel a little disconnected, a little unmotivated, maybe even a little defeated. And if that's you, you're not alone. Welcome to our next chapter. I'm here. Diana Gintube, life coach, speaker, and mentor for women navigating midlife, burnout, and identity shift. And today we're talking about something I want you to really hear. It is not too late to change your life. I've had moments like this more than once. When my mom passed away, I felt completely lost when I decided to end my 20th plus year marriage. I questioned everything about myself and things around me. And even in smaller moments, those quiet crossroads where I didn't have the same energy or clarity that I used to have. I thought maybe this is just it. And can we laugh for a second about this next season? What is it about midlife that we start deciding whether we want to go somewhere based on how many people will be there? Like too many people. I'm out. I'm out. I just can't do it. But truly, there have been seasons where I have felt disconnected from myself. Almost like I've lost my compass. And maybe you are feeling that too, or have felt that. But here's what I need you to hear. It is not too late. And it's not just me giving you a motivational talk or trying to be like this hype girl or this cheerleader. This is science. Okay. It's called neuroplasticity. Your brain has the ability to rewire itself at any stage of life. You are not stuck, you are not fixed, you are not done. At any point, you can choose a new direction. Isn't that amazing? I'm excited. Um, and for me, no matter how many times I've lost my way, there's one thing that always brings me back home. Center. I call it my power station. It is a morning ritual that I have been doing for more than two decades. Um, and if I'm really, really honest with you, when I feel the most lost, when I've lost my way, when I am the most disconnected, it usually is because I've stopped doing it. I'm human too. I have lost my way and I have stopped doing the one thing that centers me. And here's why it matters so much. The first thing in the morning, your subconscious mind is the most susceptible. It is wide open. It is that moment when you haven't checked your phone, you haven't compared yourself, you haven't let fear, doubt take over yet. You haven't allowed that huge list of to-dos to consume you. It is just you. Now I learned this from one of my favorite mentors, Wayne Dyer. And this is like this sacred window in the morning before all your defenses kick in. Okay. It is the most precious time. This is why I highly recommend for you to power your inner hero right there in the morning. Your morning ritual needs to happen right there in the morning before all your defenses kick in and you become your realistic self, right? The one that says, hmm, is that really true? So over the years, I've created my own version of this practice. I want to share with you these statements that I use because they have truly shaped my life and they are powerful. Okay. The first one is I am enough. You don't have to earn your worth, you don't have to fix yourself. And I know some of you are already arguing with me in your head. I know I've worked with hundreds of women who have tried to prove that they weren't enough. Now, no one has succeeded, no one has yet to convince me you are enough. Right now, when you say this line, it is your way of claiming it. It is making a declaration. Now, I'm gonna be honest, at first, when I started saying this, I didn't quite believe it. I wanted to believe it, but I didn't quite believe it. But now after decades of re me using this, it helps me return to my freedom. I feel it in my core. It's my home. I know it to be true. So when I lose myself nowadays, this is a statement, this is the line that I can use to return. It centers me, it connects me to a deeper part of myself, it connects me to my soul, to God, to the creator, and with time, I believe it will do the same for you. I am enough. It's a powerful line that you can start your day with. The second one is I choose compassion over fear. This one is big because fear is so sneaky. Fear doesn't always show up as panic or anxiety. Sometimes it looks like overthinking, procrastination, being hard on yourself, shutting down, or simply trying to control everything so nothing goes wrong. Fear contracts you, it makes your world smaller, it convinces you to play safe, to stay quiet, to not take risks. But compassion, now compassion does the opposite. Compassion expands you. And I'm not talking about being kind to just other people, but I'm talking about how you speak to yourself when things don't go perfectly. Because let's be honest, most women I work with have a very loud inner critic. That voice that says, You should have done better. Why are you like this? Get it together. And what happens when you speak to yourself like that? You shut down, you hesitate, you second guess yourself even more. But when you choose compassion, when you say, Hey, you're doing the best you can, or this is new, of course it feels uncomfortable, or it's okay to not have it all figured out. You know what happens then? You create safety within yourself. And when you feel safe, you take more risk, you trust yourself more, you show up differently, that compassion doesn't make you weak, it actually makes you more resilient. Because instead of beating yourself up and stopping, you support yourself and you keep going. And over time, that changes everything. So this isn't just a nice idea, it's a daily decision. Fear will try to lead, but you get to choose compassion instead. The third line is I am the creator of my reality. This one can feel a little confronting at first because it asks you to take ownership. And I am so big on accountability, but also it is incredibly freeing because it means that you are not stuck, you are not powerless, you are not a victim, you are not at the mercy of everything happening around you. You have agency, ownership. Now, does that mean you control everything? No. Life is still going to life, people are still going to people, but what is in your control is how you show up, how you think, what you believe, what you choose, how you respond. And that right there, that's where your power is. Because the truth is that you don't attract what you want, you attract what you are. So if deep down you're operating from scarcity, I'm not enough, there's not enough, things never work out for me, you'll keep creating experiences that reinforce that. Not because you're doing anything wrong, but because that's the lens you're living through. But when you start shifting to I am enough, I trust myself, I am safe to receive more, everything begins to change. Your decisions change, your energy changes, what you tolerate changes, what you go after changes. So, yes, if you want peace, you have to become peace. If you want more love, you have to embody love, if you want confidence, you have to start showing up as if you already have it. And I know that can feel like okay, but how do I do that when I don't feel it? You practice it, you choose it before it feels natural, you show up as you show up as her before you fully believe you are her. Because this isn't about pretending, it's about becoming little by little decision by decision, day by day. And over time, you look back and realize you didn't change your circumstances, you change who you were, the inside of them, and that is powerful. Fourth line: I am grateful for all that I have. This one might sound simple, but it is one of the most powerful shifts you can make because gratitude isn't just a feeling, it's a practice, it's a perspective, it's an experience, it's a way of anchoring yourself back into what's already working in your life. Okay, and let's be honest, it is so easy to focus on what's missing, what hasn't happened yet, what didn't go your way, what you wish looked different. Your mind will go there automatically. I know. But when you intentionally choose gratitude, you interrupt that pattern. You bring yourself back to the present moment, and you remind yourself there is goodness here. Gratitude is the biggest energy shift that you can practice. It shifts your energy from lack to abundance, from pressure to peace, from I'll be happy when to there is so much here already. And the beautiful thing, friend, is the more you practice it, the more you start to see it. It's like you train your brain to look for evidence of what's going right instead of what's going wrong. And that changes how you experience your life. You soften it, you open, you receive more. Not because your life suddenly becomes perfect, but because you're no longer overlooking the beauty that's already there. And that is why I say that it is an experience. And here's the deeper truth gratitude doesn't mean you ignore your desires. It doesn't mean you settle, it just means you stop living in a constant state of not enough. You can hold both. I am so grateful for what I have, and I am open to more. So let this be more than a quick thank you as you rush through your morning. Let yourself actually feel it. Pause, notice, take it in. Because the more you sit in gratitude, the more expansive, peaceful, and align your life begins to feel. The fifth line you speak to yourself every morning is I release the need to control. Yes, this one I know is hard. Oh, I had a hard lesson on this one. This one, ooh. Let's take a deep breath together, friends. If you are someone like me, high achieving, responsible, the one people count on, control can feel like safety. Like if you just manage everything well enough, you can prevent things from falling apart. So you plan, you anticipate, you overthink, you carry more than you than you share just to keep things running smoothly. But over time, that level of control becomes exhausting. Am I right? Because the truth is you were never meant to hold everything. And when you try to control everything and everyone, you don't create peace, you create pressure. Pressure in your body, pressure in relationships, pressure in your mind. So this statement, I release the need to control, isn't about becoming passive or careless, it's about becoming intentional. Friend, it's about recognizing the difference between what is yours to carry and what it's not. That was a hard lesson for me, and I think I am still learning it little by little. I learn it every day because there are things you cannot control, and there are things you can control. Your thoughts, your actions, your boundaries, your energy, how you respond with life when life doesn't go your way, but other people's choices, other people's emotions, outcomes, timing, friend, that's not yours. And when you lose loosen your grip on those things, something really powerful happens. You breathe more deeply, you feel more grounded, you stop racing for impact all the time, you begin to trust yourself, the process, and yes, even something bigger than you, whether you call it God, the universe, or just life unfolding, and you start to believe I don't have to force everything to work out. And that doesn't make you eager, it actually makes you stronger. Because now you're not operating from fear, you're operating from trust. Trust, such a hard concept. At least it was for me. It was such a big, vague concept for me to really understand. So instead of trying to control every outcome, you focus on showing up fully, doing your part, honoring your values, speaking your truth, and then allowing the rest to unfold. That's where peace lives in that gap. Not in having everything figured out, but in trusting that you'll be okay even when you don't. So if this one feels uncomfortable, welcome. Come and sit next to me. That's okay. You don't have to master it overnight. Just start loosening your grip little by little. The sixth line that you speak to yourself every morning is I trust my gifts and I share them freely. Friend, you are here for a reason, not by accident, not to just get through live checking boxes, but to express something, to offer something, to be something that only you can be. And yet, so many women hold back. You second guess, you downplay, you wait until it's better, perfect, or ready. You look around and think, who am I to do this? Someone else is already doing it better. What if people judge me? So instead of sharing your voice, your ideas, your creativity, your leadership, you keep it all inside. And over time, that doesn't just stay quiet. It turns into frustration, into self-doubt, into that lingering feeling of there's more in me, but I'm not fully living it. That's why this statement matters so much. I trust my gifts and share them freely. Because your gifts aren't random. The way you think, the way you connect, the way you see the world, the things that light you up, that's all part of your design. And trusting your gifts doesn't mean you have it all figured out. It means you're willing to honor what's already there, even if it feels a little scary, and sharing them freely. That's about releasing the need for validation. It's not about waiting for permission, it's not about making sure everyone approves. It's about saying, This is who I am, this is what I have, and I'm willing to offer it. Whether that's speaking up in a conversation, starting something new, sharing your story, setting a boundary, creating something meaningful, it all counts. Because every time you show up in your truth, you reinforce trust with yourself. And here's what I've seen over and over and over again in my life and in the women I work with. When you stop hiding, when you stop minimizing, when you stop waiting, everything begins to shift. Opportunities open, confidence grows, alignment deepens. Not because the world suddenly changed, but because you did. So let this be your reminder. You don't need more permission, you don't need more validation, you don't need to become someone else. You just need to trust what's already within you and be willing to share it, even if it's messy, even if it's small, even if it's just one step today, because your gifts were never meant to stay hidden. They were meant to be lived. Now you might be thinking, can saying a few lines really change my life? And I get it, but let me give you a visual. A plane leaving California to New York, if it shifts its direction by just a few degrees, it ends up in a completely different destination. Small shifts create massive change over time. When I was 13, in the middle of surviving abuse, I would stand in front of a mirror and say things like this. I didn't fully believe them yet, but I needed them to be true. And looking back, I truly believe those words helped me shape my life. They carried me through, they helped me become the woman I am today. So imagine this. Three months from now, six months from now, you feel more grounded, more confident, more at peace. You trust yourself, your relationships feel better, your decisions feel more clear, more confident. Not because life got easier, but because you changed how you show up in it. If this resonates with you and you want to start this practice, you want to start a morning ritual. I created something special. It's called the Power Station Blueprint. You'll find the link in the show notes. When you download it, I'll guide you for 10 days right in your inbox, step by step. So you don't just hear this, but you actually live it. Friend, it is not too late. Not for you, not now, not ever. Your next chapter is still being written. And it starts with what you tell yourself first thing in the morning. Till next time.
